Try just using essentials chat instead on chat manager that's what I use

 

Please supply a full plugins list, you could have another chat plugin that is interacting with it.

Check the chatmanager config file, make sure you have it set to true. If that doesn't work, try removing nicknamer.

 

It is set too true and removing nicknamer didnt do anything

I don't understand why people use PermissionsEX, just makes everything more difficult.

 

lol Eric i can see that now....turns out the updated version was crap i downgraded and it fixed it!

 

I'd really recommend you switch away from PEX to something like groupmanager and essentials. Essentials is highly customizeable and you can deactivate what you don't need. It has better support, doesnt' break things, and is actively developed.

 

PEX is still very efficient, but the chatmanager is not. If nothing seems to have worked install essentials and use Essentials chat to customize your chat.

 

I love command book though, is there a way to use essentials chat without getting the rest, because it does take up so much room.
